Dongzhi Manor
Dongzhi Manor School comprises three coordinatedsections: Kindergarten for students aged 3 - 6; Primary School for ages 6 -11; and a Middle Schoolfor ages 11 - 14.
Dongzhi Manor is founded and run by Dongzhi Education Group, with long-term academic partnerships with leading educational institutions and schools in North America. The school maintains regular academic exchanges, joint research, and quality review mechanisms to ensure international standards and continuous improvement.
The school is governed by the School Management Team, which oversees all daily operations, strategic development, academic quality, and compliance.
OUR HISTORY
Dongzhi Manor's educational journey began in 2014, rooted in a heartfelt vision: to createa nature-centered, international learning home where every child could grow freely andhappily.
Founded by Ms. Chen Dongzhi, Dongzhi Manor Private Kindergarten first opened in Haikou, Hainan, China. From the start, DZMIS embraced a manor-style, eco-friendly campus with spacious outdoor areas, low teacher-student ratios, and a philosophy deeply inspired by nature, art, exploration, and joy. The school quickly became a trusted name for holistic early childhood education, partnering with North American schools and WesternUniversity (Canada) to advance innovative, child-centered teaching.
Over the years, our educational ecosystem matured. DZMIS refined its Cosmic Life Education, used PBL (project-based learning) teaching methodology, developed thecurriculum system, and integrated Montessori practices, artistic expression, sports, and social-emotional growth into daily learning. The school values — Courage, Humility, Integrity, Honor — guided every step, as the school stayed committed to high-quality guidance, small-group attention, and strong home-school collaboration.
In 2026, DZMIS proudly open the next chapter: the 9-year consistent education (the primary and middle school) will officially welcome students in September. DZMIS integrated China's national curriculum with international best practices, offering bilingual math, STEAM & AI, arts, sports, drama, research study, and one-on-one growth planning. Building on more than a decade of experience, DZMIS continue its promise of premium small-class education, ensuring focused attention and personalized growth for every child.
