CHINESE NATIONAL CURRICULUM
Dongzhi Manor School will implement all subjects and essential skills required by the Chinese National Curriculum, and build upon this foundation to broaden students' knowledge and horizons. With the Chinese National Curriculum Standards as our solid foundation, we ensure that students acquire a solid knowledge base and a deep sense of cultural identity.


STEAM / AI
The STEAM curriculum empowers students to independently drive the entire process from design to construction, deeply integrating design thinking with computational thinking. They learn to understand real-world needs, define problems, and solve them in creative ways.
Students combine design, engineering, and cutting-edge technologies such as programming, Al, and drones to explore topics that interest them. Through collaboration, they bring their ideas to life, and through continuous trial and error and iteration, they grow into proactive, creative, and collaborative problem solvers.
SPORTS
The school offers students a diverse range of sports programs. Our athletic curriculum emphasizes systematic development of athletic skills while instilling sportsmanship throughout.Through tiered instruction and specialized training, students master athletic skills while understanding the value of rule awareness and teamwork. ART & MUSIC
The art curriculum establishes a comprehensive educational framework that integrates diverse artistic creation, in-depth art appreciation, and cross-cultural arts. The curriculum guides students through a wide range of practical experiences that span from traditional media to contemporary forms of expression. The music courses in music literacy, vocal, and instruments (violin, cello, piano). Every year, we also holds regular music concerts.
The fusion drama offers courses in play writing, directing, character analysis, scenic design, poetry and prose recitation, musical theater, and acting. The program focuses on developing students' comprehensive skills and organizational abilities, enabling them to express themselves more effectively, gain a deeper understanding of the world, and hone their creative thinking skills.
EXTRA CURRICULUM
Our Extra Curriculum (EC) is an essential part of the holistic learning experience at Dongzhi Manor School. Purposefully designed, they encourage student agency, provide opportunities for leadership and innovation, and support students' wellbeing and sense of belonging within our community.
Each year, students can choose from a rich and diverse selection of extra-curricular activities across a wide range of areas, including sports, creative and performing arts, academic enrichment, STEAM & Al, global competence, and public speaking & leadership.
Guided by experienced educators and specialists, our EC programs empower students to discover their strengths, pursue their passions, collaborate with peers, and grow into confident, creative, and caring learners.


GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP
The school integrates sustainability and global citizenship into its entire curriculum and operations. Our environmental courses cover topics such as the natural environment, green and low-carbon living, and oceanography. Our goal is to encourage students to think critically and make wise choices, cultivate their worldview and sense of responsibility, and drive them toward high-quality growth characterized by a three-dimensional literacy structure and comprehensive skill development.
